The Hass Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society (now the Othering and Belonging Institute) at U.C. Berkeley advances groundbreaking approaches to transforming structural marginalization and inequality.

The organization needed a digital platform that could support its broad research portfolio, facilitate discovery of scholarly work, and elevate its thought leadership in the national discourse on equity and belonging. In 2015, we worked with Mosswood Creative to lead the Haas Institute in creating a branded responsive website that is rich in media and content. Our UX and visual design work elevated their digital presence, making it easier for partners, journalists, students, and policymakers to access research, explore multimedia content, and discover subject-matter experts. The result was a scalable, content-forward platform that reflected the Institute’s thought leadership while simplifying complex information flows.
