In 2024, we were invited by RIZE Massachusetts to conduct a feasibility study for a new community platform designed for people working in behavioral health, substance use, and related fields. We interviewed over 12 members of RIZE’s community to learn about their challenges and needs, what resources they wanted to see, and to gather input on usability and sustainability.
This project continued through 2025 as we branded, designed, and built what would become Mosaic's Community Hub — an online platform to connect, collaborate, and share for people addressing the overdose crisis in Massachusetts. The website features central resources, a member dashboard and directory, and user-contributed forums and event calendar.
We built a mobile-friendly, custom Wordpress CMS/theme using MemberPress and bbPress plugins for the membership and forum features. As with all our projects, we made sure accessibility was a top priority for the website’s design and usability.
